AGV K3 Review
I am a pillion and sit on the back of a Triumph Speed Four. The AGV K3 is an awesome lid, sits perfectly on the head as there is a lot of padding.

The Suomy Vandal Motorcycle Helmet

The Suomy Vandal is derived from MotoGP
and World Superbike helmets.
It comes in single colours or graphic designs.
This is the current helmet that I wear. I use it nearly every day and it's very comfortable. I've also read other reviews on this helmet and I agree with the comments that it's quite noisy. On longer journeys I wear earplugs so noise isn't really a problem for me.
Price: Varies from £125 - £350 depending on design.
Safety Ratings
SHARP Rating - 5 Stars - highest safety rating.
United States Department Of Transport (DOT) - Approved
UK - ACU and EC approved
Visor
In wet weather I find that it fogs up a bit, so the visor has to be open by an inch or so.
Comfort
The helmet is very comfortable. I have been wearing it almost every day for a year (for at least an hour at a time) and have had no problems with comfort. Part of the padding is removable and can be washed , but the cheek pads aren't.
Around Town
No problems here, mostly I have the visor up if I'm going under 30mph. It seems to start fogging a little bit if the visor is kept down, although this happens on most motorcycle helmets as there is not enough ventilation at low speed.
High Speed
At speeds of 60 mph and over there is no buffeting (I have tried this helmet out on a Yamaha TDM Mark I, Honda CBR 600F-V and a Yamaha Fazer 600). As mentioned above the wind noise is very loud, which is the only down side of this helmet.
Ventilation
The ventilation of the Suomy Vandal helmet is very good, but the circular
vents on the top of the helmet create quite a lot of wind noise.
Straps/Fastening
The Suomy Vandal uses a Double D lock fastening.
