The Arai XR 1000 is truly the worst helmet i have ever owned the noise is unbearable, I have to wear 3 neck warmers to try to close the massive gap around the bottom of it, riding in cold weather your face freezes over, it is just so bad. I have now bought a Arai Viper, it is like traveling first class, just a world apart from the XR1000.
