Caberg Trip. Good helmet for fair price
by: H. Van Den Berg

I have this helmet for 3 years now.
Reason I bought it then was that is was one of the few I found that had a recess in the inner shell where I could fit my H-D communication set.

The helmet keeps it's shape where I found previous helmets getting looser over the years.

The fit is perfect and, realising that everybody's head is a different shape, this helmets fits mine nice and snug with no pressure points anywhere. This makes it possible to do 8+ hour trips without headaches.

The flip-top is easy with a large single button on the chin part.

The chin strap is easy to fasten and losen thanks to a perfectly profiled toggle/slide on the buckle making it easy to use even with gloves on.
The built in slide down sun visor is great and noise is not an issue.

Although I wear it often with the flip front up ventilation, when down, is adequate.

When I'm due a replacement I hope this model is still available.

Totally agree
by: Nexus

Totally agree with the above comments, have had a Trip for about a year now, it's noisey, the rain does run down the inside of the visor but worst of all because of the integrated sun visor the padding across the forehead is very thin and hard, after about 50 miles it becomes so painfull It's almost unbearable. I've taken it back to the shop but they insist it's the right size for my head. It's a pity you can't test ride a helmet before you buy it because I wouldn't have bought the Trip knowing then what I know now. My Trip now sits unused !!!
