SHARP helmet rating
This helmet hasn't been tested yet, SHARP reserve most of their testing time for full face/flip up helmets as they offer better protection than open face helmets.
'Jet' helmets are the open face models in Caberg's range. This style of helmet is popular with scooter and city riders. Open face helmets are particularly useful in hot weather.
Features
With a large visor the Jet Sintesi gives the rider great peripheral vision while still keeping the rain off. The integral sun visor is a useful addition for those bright sunny days.
The internal sun visor has become a Caberg standard feature on their helmets and is really useful. No need to stop to put your sunglasses on, just pull the lever on the side of the Jet Sintesi and the sun visor will drop down in front of your eyes!
Styling
Designed and made in Italy the Jet Sintesi looks awesome. It has been designed to look good while being practical and comfortable. This helmet would suit scooter/moped riders who commute or are making regular stops.
The design has been put through it's paces in a wind tunnel, where Caberg have made it aerodynamic to reduce wind buffeting.
Lining
Comes with a completely removable and washable lining which is easy to wash and dry.
Fastening
Quick release fastening, making this helmet quick to take off.
A quick release chin fastening is common place on open face helmets. The quick release is very easy to use and clips together just like a seatbelt.
Noise
Being an open face helmet it is quite noisy as the wind can rush up underneath the visor and around your ears very easily. The only way to combat wind noise when wearing an open face helmet is to wear ear plugs.
