Arai RX7 GP Helmet Review

The 2009 Arai RX7 GP Helmet

Read/Leave Review

Caberg Justissimo GT Helmet
An improvement on an already excellent helmet!

Compared to the old RX7 Corsair, the RX7 GP is much more comfortable and the larger visor means you can actually use your peripheral vision.

It's quieter and has improved protection to the front.

If you're a regular on the track day weekends then you'll be glad to know that the RX-7 GP has been strengthened using a Peripheral Belt which was developed in F1.

Quick Release Padding

The special 'emergency release' cheek pads are easily removable if the worst happens, meaning that rescue workers can take your helmet off without causing anymore injury.

Ventilation

There's plenty more ventilation than the old model, with new aerodynamic vents front and back.

SHARP Rating - As yet untested, but the previous RX7 got 3 out of 5 stars. The RX7-GP is a big improvement on the last model so this should mean a better Sharp result, but we won't know until they test it!

ECE 22.05 - Approved

Snell & DOT - Approved
