Arai Motorcycle Helmets Features and Best Sellers
Arai Motorcycle Helmet History

Arai helmets was originally founded by Hirotake Arai in November
1937, the son of Yuichiroh Arai who manufactured headgear for government offices
and authorities.
After the second World War Hirotake Arai maintained a distributing business
rather than manufacturing headgears, it wasn't until 1949 that Arai started
to manufacture construction worker helmets, then 2 years later Arai started
to experiment by making helmet shells using heat forming resins.
In 1962 a Limited production of Snell certified helmets was manufactured and
was "the first Snell certified Japanese helmet"
Arai are responsible for a large part of modern helmet design. They make
many styles of helmets for both daily use and professional racing, for
motorcycles and cars.
The Arai Helmet Range
Safety i
s Arai's priority. Their cheapest helmet model costs
£250. This is because they use only high quality materials and believe this
is the cheapest they can make a helmet to meet their very high safety
standards.
Arai Motorcycle Helmets Common Features
Chin Ventilation
A vent with two positions fitted with a charcoal filter. Position 1
- half open directs the airflow down. Position 2 - full open for
visor demisting.
Integrated Visor Ventilation
Most Arai helmets have 2 brow vents placed into the top of the visor.
This helps with anti fogging.
Breath Guard
A removable breath guard reduces fogging by keeping breath away from
the visor. Used with the Demist locking function, this will stop your
visor from ever fogging up!
Removable padding interior
A removable and washable padded interior that has Dry-Cool liner
material. This special material improves moisture and heat transfer
which helps to keep your head much dryer and cooler.
LRS (Lever Release System)
Change the motorcycle helmet visor quickly without having to
use tools.
Demist locking function
This feature allows the visor to ventilate while keeping it locked. This
is great for when it's raining as the visor can be opened just a few
centimetres without it closing itself again.
