AFX FX-17 Review
Review of the AFX-17 Off Road Motorcycle Helmet
The AFX FX-17 is a pure off-road helmet that is made to wear all day long with it's plush interior lining.
It's design means that there are no pressure points that would start to hurt when the FX17 is worn for long periods of time.
As it is made for off road use there are no sliders or buttons on the outside shell of the helmet that could be accidentally ripped off when removing goggles.
Although this is an off road helmet it is both DOT and ECE approved which means it can be worn on the road.
Strap/Retention system
The double D strap makes it easy to adjust this helmet for each ride. For off roading a double D strap is safer than a quick release buckle as this can be released accidentally on aggressive off road rides.
Graphics
The FX-17 comes in various graphics to suit any taste. There are both camo and skull style finishes to choose from as well as others.
Ventilation
11 vents on the chin, side top and rear of the helmet. The front vents pull cool air in and the rear vents release hot, stale air.
Overall Rating
The FX17 can be worn while riding any motorcycle but it is suited to off road and ATVs. You will be amazed at how comfortable it is to wear!
